The Center of the Multiverse
Here’s the thing to know. We all want to think the place we’ve come from is the most important place there is. Or maybe we’re thinking that the place we’re headed to will be the most important place there is. Folks in Sigil see it as the center of the multiverse, planars see their home planet as the center, the devas and angels see Mount Celestia as the center. Funny thing is, berk, they’re all right (and they’re all wrong). The multiverse is infinite by pretty much anyone’s measure. That being the case, no matter where you stand, that’s the center of all things.
Now, the Signers have taken that whole thing and turned into a philosophy (“I’m always at the center of the multiverse; therefore I must be the center of all universes.” Any number of factions would disagree with that statement, of course.
To be blunt, the fact is there ain’t any place in the whole multiverse that’s more important than any other. Some places — like Sigil — are more useful than others, though. Just because it ain’t the center of the universe, don’t think it ain’t important, berk.
